Aged Tawny Ports and the company’s old vintage ports have been fetching the highest prices at auction for decades. At the same time, Taylor’s is also an innovative company which, among other things, paved the way for the late-bottled vintage ports that are now imitated by almost all other port houses. The company created the dry white port, Taylor’s Chip Dry White Port, in 1938 and launched the first ready-to-drink port cocktail, Chip Dry and Tonic, in 2021, especially for connoisseurs who do not have the patience to mix a cocktail for themselves.
