The distillate comes from the Clarendon Distillery in South Jamaica, which is located on one of the oldest sugar cane plantations on the island and is one of only four producers in the country. Known for producing some of the tastiest and most intense rums in the world, Jamaica has been a centre of rum production since the 17th century.
