The Penderyn Distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, while there are two other Penderyn Distilleries in Swansea and Llandudno. “Merlyn Welsh Cream Liqueur” – a tribute to the legendary Welsh wizard Merlyn – is made from Welsh barley in Faraday stills, which produce a high alcohol content of 92% vol. Fresh distillate is used that has not been matured in barrels and to which pure, fresh cream is added. This combination results in a rich, warming texture, a mysterious depth that is difficult to describe and a wonderfully mild, soft and irresistible flavour.
